Benefits of MembershipsReceive three journals per year in April, August and December.Use of Members only area on our Web-site Forum. Use of the Resource Centre in Motherwell. Research questions carried out at a reduced rate (see Research Page). "ScotlandsPeople" Vouchers at a reduced price. Our own Publications at reduced prices when purchased at the "Resource Centre" or "GLO Centre" speaker meetings. Attend the following monthly meetings in the Resource Centre. Irish Interests Evening. Old Handwriting Evening. Military Matters Evening. Join the team of members transcribing Graveyards in the Graveyard Group. |
Membership year is from 1st January to 31st December.Members receive three journals per year usually in April, August and December. Renewal forms will be enclosed with the December journal. A membership card will be issued upon receipt of payment. Members may pay for 2 years. Second year membership card will be enclosed with December journal. |
Membership Fees 2012
UK single membership £12.00 and Overseas single membership £16.00.
Note:- For additional family members, living at the same address, the additional fee is £6.00 per person for both UK and overseas members.
Only one journal per household will be sent.
Anyone joining the society after the 14th August will be able to join for One Year Plus membership costing £18.00 for UK residents and £24.00 for overseas residents for single membership. Additional family members can be included for an additional £6.00 per person.
Note:- Membership runs from date of joining until the 31st December the following year.
August and December Journals will be included in the first year.
Anyone joining after 15th November will be able to join for One Year Extra membership costing £14.50 for UK residents and £20.00 for overseas residents for single membership.
Additional family members may be included for an additional £6.00 per person.

The three Journal issue dates are:- April, August and December.
Membership Fees include all postage of Journals.
Fees can be paid by PayPal or by sterling cheque.
In exceptional circumstances we may accept cheques in other currencies.
